CHECK OUT OUR FRUIT: MEET ELI!

Where are They Now?

This column brings you up-to-date on where our world changers are today and how they are progressing. In this issue, we’re excited to feature Eli! Eli was a part of Sophia Learning Center’s first class of students official graduating class. Today, he is thriving in the second grade!

Here's what Eli’s mother had to say about his experience at SLC and where he is today. and our first official graduating class. Today, he is thriving in the second grade!

How has Eli been doing in school since he left SLC?

When Eli left SLC to begin kindergarten, he was beyond

prepared. This was a great help since it was the start of the

pandemic, and most kids were quickly falling behind. Thanks to SLC, Eli scored a 288 out of 298 on the Kindergarten Readiness Assessment. This test was given to the students before they had a chance to learn anything at their new school.

Eli attends church with his aunt and uncle as often as he can. He loves learning and has become very interested in wanting to know how the world works.

What growth have you seen in him?

Eli continues to be a great human. He makes friends with everyone, and based on his last parent/teacher conference, he is a leader in his classroom.

How did SLC prepare Eli for the school system? Is there anything he picked up from his time here that you could say has contributed to his success in school?

SLC prepared Eli to have focus which is very difficult for most children. As stated previously, SLC has contributed greatly to Eli’s social skills. He can strike up a conversation with anyone and loves making new friends.

We are grateful for the time we had at SLC and appreciative of all the skills that were gained in a short amount of time.
